The Radon-Thoron S Chamber allows you to measure thoron concentrations alongside radon. Because this chamber measures both thoron and radon, it should be deployed alongside a standard radon detector in order to calculate proportional concentrations (to compare radon to thoron levels).
The Radon-Thoron S Chamber is a 210 mL dome-shaped chamber with a plunger mechanism that measures both radon and thoron concentrations when deployed. If the plunger is closed, the S Chamber will prevent radon and thoron from discharging the electret, thus ensuring that you can start and stop your radon test at a desired time.
It is made of a special conductive plastic, and is both convenient to transport and highly durable.
